Old Prints & Pictures

Another set of pictures for you to get excited about and decide you need on your wall.

These 3 are all £20 each, although only 2 of them are a 'proper' pair, and even those could be easily sepertated and not look strange on their own.

The 1st one is the bird one. "Le Merle Couleur De Rose"
Dated as 1774. However with a lot of prints nowadays, they may be reproductions. (Part of me wishes they were as then it means a book hasn't been pulled apart to get the original prints from)
Even the lovely people who check things over for us are only "70% sure" they are originals.
With a pink mount and thin wooden frame.
11 by 14 inches (28 x36cms) approx

The 2nd and 3rd prints are of Pigs and a Zebu.

These are dated as 1799 as when they were published, but again only "70% sure" they are orignals as it is difficult to tell without taking them completely out of the frames (so they tell me).
White mounts with thin black wooden frames.
12 by 15 inches (30 x 38cms) approx

We hope you have enough wall space to fit these lovely prints in!

Cherubs

Seeing as there are only 13 weeks till Christmas (!!) we are getting these lovely cherubs out ready so for show...

These 2 pictures are in lush red and gold with the little cherubs taking centre stage.
Only prints, and with no signature on them, we can't tell you much more than that really, other then they are £16 each (or the pair for £30) and measure roughly 17inch (44cm) by 14 1/2inch (37cm)
The little cherubs are 7inch (18cm) by 4 1/2inch (12cm)

Painted gold frame with no chips or dent in it. And they are ready to hang.

Short but sweet post today.

Victorian Family Photos

These lovely framed photos are all over 100 years old. We found the latest one being from 1910!

Beautifully framed and a striking display makes these 3 pictures pipe up everyone's interest, wondering who these people were and who they are related to.
Let's get the BBC with their "Who do you think you are" people in to check. Who knows, they might be related to someone super famous! (or not....Admittedly chances are slim, but we can speculate!)

Recognise anyone?
A lot of the photos come from French photographer studios.

Some are faded due to time and being exposed to the light, as old photos do, but I think this just adds to them. Much more interesting then instagram!

They are 9 1/2 inches (24cms) by 27 1/2 inches (70cms)
£20 each

Bodies

No, we haven't become a scene in some CSI type show, but we do have some half bodies in the shop.

Portraits. Well, not even portraits, but some medical type images all framed up.
A matching pair of full colour prints.

"Philips' Popular Manikin"
"Philips' Model of the Human Body"

Sized -
32cms frame x 54cms frame
15cms image x 38cms image

Taken from a book, but they were already framed when we got them.

£20 each or both for £30

They definitely need to be hung on a wall soon. They look so good.
